Blake Nottestad claims his ever late model Feature victory during Drake Power and Electric night

Late Models

It was Drake Power and Electric night at Jefferson Speedway highlighted by a 50 lap Late Model Feature. Blake Nottestad took the checkers to claim his first career feature win for the Taylored Construction and Remodeling Late Models. Nottestad accomplished this in just his third feature start at “Wisconsin’s Action Track.” Steven Sauer took the early lead, but relinquished that on Lap 16. Michael Guderski stormed his way past Nottestad on Lap 35. A caution would put the two rising stars side by side on the restart, with four laps remaining. The young Nottestad would gain the advantage and cruise to victory. Guderski experienced brake failure, dropping him out of contention. Dylan Schuyler finished runner up. Jason Erickson, Shaun Scheel, an Scott Patrick rounded out the top five. Carson Phillips brought home quick time. Heats were won by Kyle Taylor, Tyler Deporter, and Schuyler.
