Johnson & Phillips each win a Twin 50 Lap Feature Event Presented by Boucher Auto Group of Janesville

Late Models

Feature 1: Boucher Auto Group of Janesville presented twin 50 lap Taylored Construction and Remodeling Late Model Features. Both provided edge of your seat entertainment. Chris Flairty jumped out to the early lead, as the dogs were on the hunt behind him. The crowd erupted as numerous three wide battles ensued throughout the field. As Flairty continued to lead, Casey Johnson was slicing his way to the front. Johnson would swipe the lead away from Flairty on Lap 42 and sail to the checkers. This would be Johnson’s fourth feature win in three days. Flairty held on for second. Scott Patrick, Seth Reamer, and Dylan Schuyler rounded out the top five.

Feature 2: The second Boucher Auto Group of Janesville Feature was even more exciting than the first. Michael Grueneberg would show the way for most of the 50 lap event. The battle was intense behind him. Kurt Kleven, Carson Phillips, Schuyler, Johnson, and Jason Erickson were involved in an intense battle for the top five. Phillips would separate himself from that battle and set his sights on Grueneberg. Those two jousted for the lead. Phillips would eventually win the battle and claim his second feature win of the season. Grueneberg nipped Erickson at the line for second. Johnson and Kleven would round out the top five
