Inaugural Debut set for 602’s and Midwest Dash
Oregon WI – This Saturday night May 28th the 602 Late Models and the Midwest Dash make their first ever appearance at Wisconsin’s Action Track. A strong field of 602’s will be on hand with feature wins and championships galore. Dennis Prunty looks to be the guy to beat as he goes for four wins in a row to start the season in 602 competition. Another top driver in the series is Veteran Tom Carlson. Carlson, a two time Oktoberfest Race Weekend Champion back in 1991 and 1992 always seems to find himself up front when running in the 602’s. Bryce Miller looks to return to his home track this weekend. Miller, who got his start at Jefferson in the Sportsman division pulled double duty as a full time competitor in the Midwest Truck Series as well as the 602’s. Miller even picked up his second career Midwest Truck Series win at Jefferson in August of 2020. Also expected to be there is Rookie driver Alex Hartwig. Hartwig who has been the driver to beat in Bandolero action, made the jump to the 602’s this season and currently sits 4th in the point standings. Also making their debut this Saturday is the Midwest Dash Series. Expect a whos who of Midwest Dash cars to be on hand for their program as well.
