Jefferson Speedway racing program washed away!

June 24, 2000; Jefferson, WI. – Rain forced the postponement of the “Smith Motors 50” and the “Great American Trailer Race” tonight at Jefferson Speedway.

The action continues next Saturday night with the “Kearns Motor Car Co. 50” along with Stock Car Rides for Kids, the Coin Toss, Big Wheel Races and Independence Day Fireworks.

To provide time for the Stock Car Rides for Kids, the normal schedule at Jefferson Speedway has been moved back. Gates open at 3:00, Qualifying at 4:30, Kids rides 5:45 to 6:45 and racing at 7:30 sharp.

Also scheduled Monday, July 3, the “Tournament of Destruction” a full show of special events, including Bubble races, Roll-over contest, Trailer Race, Backup Race, Spin to Win, Bump & Run, Auto Bowling and the Cone Race. The night’s entertainment will be capped by a Fireworks display.
