Turning in a win, in the first 65 lapper, followed by a 2nd, in the second race, Nottestad easily claimed top honors for the Late Model division. Nick Wendt of Watertown edged out Nottestad for the win, in the second 65 lapper.
Brent Nottestad of Cambridge claimed the Overall Championship, in the International (4-Cylinder) division, turning in a first and third place finish. Aaron Rude claimed victory in the second feature, but his 4th place finish in the first, left him short of the title.
In the Sportsman division Bret Schmidt was crowned with the Overall title, turning in 2 second place finishes. Scott “Chico” Riedner claimed the win, in feature number 1, but finished out of the running in the 2nd race. Trent Erdman, the 2003 track champion, won the 2nd feature, but had not fared well in the first race.
In Hobby Stock action the twin feature competition ended in a tie, between Eaan Carson of Fort Atkinson and Pete Elgas of Janesville. Qualifying times were used as the tie breaker, and Carson was declared the overall Champion, having qualified faster than Elgas. Victory in the first feature went to rookie driver Garrett Goth, while the second victory went to Chuck Egli.
In Bandit action Chris Nelson of Cottage grove turned in a 2nd and a 1st place finish, claiming the division’s overall title. Victory, in the first race, was claimed by 2003 track champion Bill Sweeney.
