Casey Johnson & Shaun Scheel find Victory in the Orange Blossom Super late Model Twin 61 Lap Special at Jefferson Speedway

Super Late Models

The Super Late Models made their return to Jefferson Speedway for the Orange Blossom Special to honor the legendary Jerry Eckhardt. Utica Seed Company presented twin 61 lap features. The Sportsman and Hobby Stock Divisions also had twin feature events. The Upper Midwest Vintage Series also made an appearance at “The Ole Cornfield.”

Local standout, Shaun Scheel led a star studded field to green in the first feature. Scheel battled hard with Grant Griesbach, as the rest of the field jousted for position. Scheel would reign supreme and see the checkers first to claim the first Super Late Model Feature. Griesbach would eventually fade to sixth place. Jevin Guralski had a solid second place finish. Paul Shafer Jr. was third, followed by Casey Johnson. New Track Record holder Jordan Devoy drove his machine up to fifth place.
