Rain Claims Jefferson Speedway Opener

April 29, 2006; Jefferson, Wis. – In what seems to be becoming an annual event, Jefferson Speedway’s Season opening “Spring Sizzler 50” has succumbed to rain.

The action begins next week at Wisconsin’s Action Track, same time, same place. The “Spring Sizzler 50” will launch the 2006 racing season.

The night’s action includes a 50 lap Late Model feature and a full racing program in all divisions.

Gates open at 2:00, Qualifying at 4:30 and racing starts at 7:00 sharp.

Jefferson Speedway is half way between Cambridge and Jefferson Wisconsin on Highway 18.
