Spring Sizzler Washed Out – For the Second Time at Jefferson Speedway!

May 8, 2004; Jefferson, Wis. – The “Spring Sizzler Finale — 65,” held over from April 24, was doomed to a second wet night. With qualifying completed and heat races underway. As the first Bandit division heat saw the green flag the skies opened up, drenching all hope of finishing a fantastic night of racing.
Next week Jefferson Speedway will complete the “Spring Sizzler” program, along with a full racing program. After qualifying, the program will move directly to the remainder of the events on the “Spring Sizzler” program, followed by the complete, regularly scheduled racing program.
With 13 events completed, this event is considered a complete show, for ticketing purposes.
Due to the amount of racing on the schedule, Jefferson Speedway will adjust its regular times. Gates open at 2:00PM, qualifying at 4:00PM and racing at 6:00PM.
Jefferson Speedway is half way between Jefferson and Cambridge Wisconsin, on Highway 18.
