CAMBRIDGE, WI (Friday, September 13, 2019)    The 39^th Annual Pepsi Wisconsin State Championships at Jefferson Speedway got underway on a cool evening in south central Wisconsin. The first of two days of intense racing action presented by Madison Auto Trim was capped by two 50 lap feature events. In Late Model action, it was Utica’s Riley Stenjem picking up the win. Meanwhile, the Midwest Truck Series paid a visit to Wisconsin’s Action Track after a rain out earlier in the season. Sun Prairie’s Todd Kluever made a triumphant return to local racing by capturing the 50 lap feature win.

CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, September 7, 2019)               Four Late Model pilots entered Season Championship Night with hopes of claiming the 2019 track championship. The Griffin Ford Lincoln of Fort Atkinson 60 lap main event would be the setting to determine which of those four drivers would achieve their season long goal of championship glory. When the dust settled, the man who entered as the point leader would leave with the spoils as the 2019 Late Model champ. After years of trying, and coming very close, Shaun Scheel of Lake Mills finally attained that elusive title at Wisconsin’s Action Track. While Scheel was putting the finishing touches on his championship, it was fellow Lake Mills driver, Kyle Smith, picking up the feature victory by holding off yet another Lake Mills product for the win.

CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, August 31, 2019)              Stoughton Late Model pilot, Will Rece, captured the O’Reilly Auto Parts 50 lap main event on Saturday night at Wisconsin’s Action Track. His win marks the second consecutive week that Jefferson Speedway’s premier division placed a first time feature winner in victory lane with Seth Reamer claiming the win last Saturday evening. The season long chase for the championship tightened as well as we head straight into Season Championship Night next week.

CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, August 24, 2019)              Beaver Dam’s Seth Reamer bested a stout field of Late Model pilots to emerge victorious on Saturday night at Jefferson Speedway. Reamer’s win in the Race to Autism Awareness 50 lapper marked his first career feature victory at Wisconsin’s Action Track.

CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, August 17, 2019)      As the 2019 season hits the home stretch, the battles in the standings are as hot as ever. This holds true in the Late Model division as no fewer than five pilots still hope to stake a claim for the championship. One of those drivers is Kody Hubred of Deerfield. Hubred placed his name atop the list of feature winners in 2019 after hanging on to secure the win in the Associated Bank 50 lap main event on Saturday night. With his victory, Hubred becomes the only driver to accumulate 4 feature wins on the season, with only three more nights of point racing left.

CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, August 10, 2019) Cambridge pilot, Dale Nottestad, notched the win on Saturday night at Jefferson Speedway after the running of the Jensen Heating 50 lap Late Model main event. The win marks Nottestad’s second feature victory of the season as he looks to gain momentum towards adding to his record setting five Late Model crowns at Wisconsin’s Action Track.

CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, July 27, 2019)            Kody Hubred of Deerfield joined point leader, Shaun Scheel, as the only two drivers to claim Late Model feature gold on three different occasions this season. After a late race caution, Hubred got by Michael Grueneberg to capture the IBEW Local 159 Late Model 50 lap main event. After Scheel was part of that late caution, the points will tighten as we head towards the home stretch in our quest to crown a 2019 track champion.

CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, July 13, 2019)            After a long string of top finishes this season, Riley Stenjem finally broke through and parked his machine in victory lane following the Newville Auto Salvage 50 lap Late Model feature event. The Utica pilot scored his first feature win of the season as he looks to assert himself into the picture for the season title at Wisconsin’s Action Track.

CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, July 6, 2019)              Kody Hubred scored his second feature victory of the 2019 racing season at Jefferson Speedway on Saturday night. Hubred got to the front of the 20 car field early in the Serenity Concepts 50 lap Late Model main event and stayed strong on the point to secure the win. Hubred joins Shaun Scheel as the only drivers to claim multiple feature victories this season at Wisconsin’s Action Track.
