JASON ERICKSON CLAIMS FOURTH WI STATE TITLE
CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, September 17, 2022) The culmination of two days packed with racing excitement at Wisconsin’s Action Track was highlighted by twin features in six different divisions. Twin 50 lap Late Model main events presented by Brown Heating and Air Conditioning led the way. Dale Nottestad of Cambridge entered the evening with a leg up on the competition after claiming the 50 lap event the night before. But it was Jefferson’s Jason Erickson who stood tall when the dust settled, picking up his fourth career Wisconsin State Championship, including two in a row.
FIRST DAY OF WSC IN THE BOOKS!
CAMBRIDGE, WI (Friday, September 16, 2022) The 42nd annual Wisconsin State Championships kicked off on Friday evening at Jefferson Speedway with the first of two nights filled with racing action. The Friday night portion was highlighted by the Glassworks 50 lap Late Model feature event as well as the return of the Midwest Truck Series, which competed in their own 50 lap main event. Newly crowned seven time Late Model track champion, Dale Nottestad of Cambridge, came out on top while Brandon Reichenberger took top honors in the Truck Series feature.
WI STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS INVADE JEFFERSON SPEEDWAY THIS WEEKEND

That event has arrived this week, as the Wisconsin State Championships are scheduled to pack the weekend full of action at Jefferson Speedway. The event, affectionately referred to as the “Two Day Show”, takes place this Friday and Saturday, September 16-17. CHAMPIONSHP BATTLES SETTLED AT JEFFERSON SPEEDWAY
CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, September 10, 2022) A season long battle at the top of the Late Model standings culminated on Saturday afternoon at Wisconsin’s Action Track as two of the winningest pilots in Jefferson Speedway history did battle one more time to determine the 2022 track champion. Entering the day Cambridge driver, Dale Nottestad owned a 24 point advantage over Jefferson’s Jason Erickson as both drivers looked to add another tally to their storied championship careers. When the dust settled, it was Jason Erickson parked in victory lane with the Griffin Ford Lincoln of Fort Atkinson 60 lap feature win. But Nottestad won the season long war, capturing an unprecedented seventh Late Model crown.
OSBORNE OUSTS FIELD FOR FIRST FEATURE WIN!
CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, September 3, 2022) 15 year old Janesville pilot, Laney Osborne, put her machine out front of the field and stayed there to claim the Red Line BBQ 50 lap feature event at Jefferson Speedway. The feature win marks her first such accomplishment in a Late Model at Wisconsin’s Action Track in her young racing career.
CASEY JOHNSON DOUBLES UP AT JEFFERSON SPEEDWAY
CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, August 27, 2022) Whenever former Jefferson Speedway Late Model track champion, Casey Johnson, unloads his machine at his old stomping grounds, he’s immediately a contender for the feature win. Fresh off his big win on Friday night in the ARCA Midwest Tour, Johnson doubled up on feature wins at Wisconsin’s Action Track, winning both the makeup 50 lapper from the week before, as well as the Reynolds Heating and Cooling 50 lap main event scheduled for the evening.
TATE, SCHMIDT AND STORKSON WINNERS IN RAIN SHORTENED PROGRAM
CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, August 20, 2022) Another Saturday filled with rain drops descended on Wisconsin’s Action Track. This time, the rains were too much to overcome, cutting the night’s events short before the completion of all feature events. But the Hobby Stocks, Bandits and Legends managed to complete their main events before the heavens opened ending the night.
STEPHEN SCHEEL GRABS FEATURE WIN
CAMBRIDGE, WI (Saturday, August 13, 2022) After dodging rain drops all evening long, Stephen Scheel of Lake Mills parked his Late Model in victory lane at the conclusion of the Taylored Construction and Remodeling 50 lap main event. Scheel held off Jefferson pilot, Jason Erickson, for many laps en route to his first feature win of the season at Wisconsin’s Action Track.
